Pat visits UTC Swindon

Pat has had a successful visit to UTC this term. Pat represented the school exceptionally well throughout the day. He confidently introduced himself to everyone he met, sharing his name and the school he attends. His communication was clear, polite, and showed real maturity. During the engineering activities, Pat engaged enthusiastically with the Year 13 students. He had a go on the car simulator and showed great interest in the kit cars they had built. Pat also joined a Year 11 Computer Science lesson, where he was able to understand the content, answer questions, and ask thoughtful questions of his own. His engagement and curiosity were noted by staff. He particularly enjoyed using the AR equipment and exploring micro-robotics, showing genuine interest in the technology.
Overall, Pat was an absolute pleasure to take. He demonstrated excellent behaviour, curiosity, and confidence throughout the visit. Well done Pat!
